From dynamic group classes with high energy, to the more focussed one to one and group coaching sessions we have something to suit you. Supported by a passionate coach and an incredible training facility, and years of experience of delivering real transformational change that lasts.

Functional Athlete & Coach

With thousands of hours of experience coaching all bodies, Conor brings a well rounded and functional approach to fitness. As a certified massage therapist, he understands the importance of recovery and mobility, ensuring every client feels supported and transformed. Whether you're rehabbing an injury or training for a marathon, at Persevere we work together to build fitter, stronger humans who are confident, happier and have a consistent approach to their fitness.

'I got into fitness, being someone who couldn't have been farther from accessing it. I realised it was a powerful tool for change for physical an mental well being and I have spent years building the knowledge, skills and experience to help others. I believe fitness is something EVERYONE should be able to do, and I'm living proof of that. I preach consistency over perfection, celebrating every win & learning to love yourself and the process that leads to transformational change. If you want an enthusiastic coach who has your back, who works with you every step of the way, who understand the real life struggles of making change. Then i might just be the coach for you'.

Services

At Persevere we offer something to fit everybody's needs & work with you to develop something that suits your goals and lifestyle but these can be best split into 3 distinct services

Group classes:

small classes of 4-6 people with shared goals looking for daily fitness and to be in and out in an hour feeling like they've worked hard, learnt some skills & blown off some steam in a motivating and supporting environment. All classes are lead by our expert coach Conor. You can come to trial a free class or find out about our intro courses and taster sessions by checking out the timetable and booking direct. 

 

Personal Training 

Perfect for individual's who cant make it to our classes, or feels they need more tailored one to one or 2 to 1 support. These programs are fully customisable to budget & lifestyle. We sit down to work out a plan that suits your lifestyle, includes all the components of your life that matters and find the right balance for you. Then we work together weekly to take you through that program focussing on developing form, technique and why lifting well MATTERS. Then we put this into a timeline and get to it. So we can have SMART goals that meet your needs. First thing is we start with a consultation. 

Sports Massage

For those with aches and pains, not just for athletic performance but those recovering from injury, who have tough day jobs or for those wanting to simply recover better and feel good. Every massage comes with a consultation, full massage and game plan on how to move better in the future. 

Facilities

All services at Persevere Fitness are operated out of the incredible Edinburgh Strength Collective. A charity thats values and mission revolve around 'Strength for all'. A world class facility hosting some of the strongest lifters in the world across multiple categories and disciplines. Their ethos, facilities and incredible community where a natural fit for Persevere Fitness and so we are delighted to work across their space. We have a close personal and working relationship with them and regularly partner on projects that give back to the local community such as workshops covering health topics, to a lifting camp for young people. 

 

We have access to 3 rooms, a class space, the general gym space & the clinic room for massage. With a significant smaller tighter community than a commercial gym you wont have to come and fight for space to get on equipment. People will know you by name and you'll feel part of the wider family.

Equipment

The Edinburgh Strength Collective & Persevere Fitness have access to a huge variety of kit. Many of which is traditonial Gym equipment. Think barbells, Kettlebells, weight plates & Dumbbells. Aswell as traditonal cardio machines known as Erg's (Rower, ski erg, and assault bike). In addition to this we have access to 4 rigs used for lifting weights. 

Additionally we have many specialised pieces of equipment from functional fitness, rehab and strength sports like powerlifting and strongman. For example: logs, sandbags, heavy stones, a Glute ham developer, two sled tracks a yoke, and two platforms for Oly lifting. That is just the tip of the surface of what we have. With a breadth of experience coaching across multiple disciplines we have everything to run fun and engaging classes and training sessions. 

The inclusion of a studio and gym space and the benefits of a private gym mean we have far more capacity to ensure every memebr can enjoy their session, in a way that many public and commercial gyms cannot.
